Camp Driftwood. Winter at Driftwood

Previous. Next.
Dramatic contrasts characterize the winter months.

Snowmobiling and downhill skiing enthusiasts will find first-class facilities within easy reach of our cabins.

Exciting events on the winter calendar include the annual Country Christmas Tour, Winter Festival, Snocade, and Poker Run.

There is a free town skating rink in Indian Lake village. Skates are even provided free of charge.

Local roads and highways are extremely well maintained, and winter driving is usually not a problem.

For those who like to experience true quiet, there are hundreds of miles of trails for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hiking.

The abiding peace of a snowy, silent night is something everyone should experience. Sometimes it is so still that one can literally hear the snow falling.

A couple of our cabins are fully winterized, well heated, and available all year round. In addition to their primary heating systems, they also have Vermont Castings stoves that you can use "fireplace-style".

Cabin rates are discounted before Christmas, after President's Week and during weekdays. Click here for details.
