Camp Driftwood. Pets

Previous. Next.
Well-behaved pets are allowed, as long as certain simple rules are followed:

  • Dogs must be walked on leashes.
  • Owners must clean up after their pets.
  • Dogs are not allowed in the cabin when they're wet.
  • Owners who take their dogs to the waterfront should avoid areas where people swim or sunbathe.
  • Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
  • Cats must not scratch the furniture or other items in the cabins.
  • Dogs may not be left alone in the cabin all day.*
  • Dogs must be kept from barking and disturbing the other guests.**
There is a $75 per week or $15 per day per dog surcharge.

Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.

Be sure to inform us, when making reservations, if you wish to bring along any pets. Packs of dogs may not be allowed.

In addition, if your dog is predisposed to barking at strangers, please let us know, so we can help you find a more private cabin with the least amount of foot traffic passing by.

*Animals that are normally quiet at home may bark or howl when they're left behind in strange surroundings. If this proves to be the case, you'll need to take your pet with you at all times so that other guests aren't disturbed.

**If your dog is a barker, it's not going to be a good fit at Camp Driftwood. Please consider boarding your pet instead of bringing it along. If, however, it is simply territorial and likely to bark at passersby near your cabin; please discuss this with us, so we can help situate you properly, so that others guests won't be disturbed.
