Breathtaking views reward hikers who make the climb up Castle Rock, Baldface, Chimney Mountain, Watch Hill, and dozens of other gorgeous peaks, including Blue Mountain, Snowy Mountain and Wakely Mountain which are topped with restored fire towers.

There are also abundant flat walks and easy hikes - varying in length from a short stroll to Buttermilk Falls all the way to weeks of hiking on the Northville-Lake Placid Trail - located a half hour or less from your door. O.K. Slip Falls, New York's highest waterfall, is a new favorite.
