The waters of Indian Lake
may be more pure than what comes out of your tap at home. To swim here is to feel cleansed and rejuvenated.
Water temperatures are usually swimmable from at least the first half of June to sometime toward the middle or end of September. Hearty folk have been known to stretch the season considerably.
Our 900 feet of shoreline varies from shallow sandy beach to rock ledge steep enough to dive right in from.
There are two areas reserved exclusively for bathing, with a swimming float attached to shore at one location. For those willing to paddle out from Camp, the lake abounds with marvelous, secluded beaches and spectacular, deserted coves.
